Synopsis

A timeless story of love and death. Francisco Sá-Carneiro met Snu Abecassis on January 6, 1976. He was a promising politician, deeply Catholic, married with five children. She is Danish, and in addition to being married and the mother of three children, she is also the founder of D. Quixote, a publishing house responsible for publishing books that dared to defy the censorship of the Portuguese regime. Sá-Carneiro and Snu fell irretrievably in love and decided to take this love to its final consequences, resisting criticism and the many obstacles they had to face - on a personal and family level, as well as on a social and political one. In a Portugal rebuilding from the ashes of fascism, this overflowing love, far ahead of its time, will fight against the winds and tides, indestructible, until its death.
